1. Can I make changes to the standard home plans?

Yes, but this depends on the specific change and when you request it.

2. When do I have to have all decisions made?

In general, most of your decisions are made prior to signing the Purchase and Sales Agreement (P & S). The lot, house style and options all contribute to the cost and this needs to be reflected in the P & S. Some of the specific options, such as the placement of certain home wiring and lighting must be made at the time of the Rough Frame Walk through. Other decisions, such as colors and kitchen design, are made after this time. Once you start the process, you will be given a rough schedule and to-do list that describes what your responsibilities are and when they must be performed.

3. What happens if I just have to have something changed?

Of course we want you to be happy with your decisions. Depending on the nature of the change and where we are in the building process, we will certainly make every effort to make the modifications that you desire with the minimum cost to you. Please contact us at the office immediately if you need to discuss any alterations. The longer you wait, the less chance that we will be able to help you without significant costs and delay.
